The last decade I have realized many projects about streaming hardware for testing and feeling with my ears.
The equipment is very puristic and contains only necessary features. Finished OEM modules are used and assembled into the streamers by hand in Germany and extensively tested. The housings are made of polished aluminum for good EMC characteristics and nice design. At the bottom of the housing is the IR receiver and a LED for the status. The power terminal is fused, and the power switch is illuminated when the device is switched on. Some devices have USB ports for an external DAC for better performance and USB storage for offline streaming, others are pure with only a LAN port. The streamers are controlled exclusively via an app or the remote control.
